Hello. I am offering a splendid Roseville Pottery green Morning Glory basket (340-10″) from my own personal collection. The pattern was produced in 1935. Green Morning Glory pieces are highly sought after by and coveted among new and seasoned collectors alike; they are also more valuable than the same pieces in white. Roseville baskets are among the most popular of its many shapes. This particular piece is extremely hard to find, especially in such great condition. The mold is crisp and the colors are rich and vibrant. It is nicely textured and is finished with a matte glaze. It is a heavy piece. The green Morning Glory basket has no chips, cracks, or repairs. The handle is intact. The item is mostly clean on the outside except for some surface dirt on the base ring and a little sticker residue on the base. It is also mostly clean on the inside with just a bit of dust on the very bottom. There are a few thin gray scuff marks on one of its sides; with such a busy pattern, they are difficult to detect. There are two pinhead-sized factory paint skips on the other side. For the sake of accuracy, there are sporadic areas of crazing on the inside. The piece is in near mint condition. Please disregard the appearance of any shiny white spots which are due to camera glare. The basket’s bottom is unmarked except for the previous owner’s white label which reads 340-10. Its dimensions are 10-1/2″ h x 7″ l x 6-1/2″ w. It displays beautifully and is a wonderful example of its kind. The green Morning Glory basket will be packed especially carefully before shipping and will be fully insured. The quoted price is an estimate for both USPS Priority Mail shipping and insurance. Any shipping/insurance overage will be promptly reimbursed. I will gladly combine shipping for multiple purchases as long as it would be safe to do so.
